DuinDromen is an information website about our holiday bungalow. You can view photos and accommodation details here. Booking, payment and messages about your reservation are handled through Airbnb.
1. Who is responsible?
Ufkes Management B.V., Binnenhaven 24, 1781 BK Den Helder, Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 73176796, administers this DuinDromen website. For privacy questions, you can write to this address. The email address and telephone number will be added to the contact page.
2. How does this website handle data?
The website has no contact form, newsletter, advertising pixels or visitor analytics. We do not request your name, email address or payment details on this website. The photo gallery and motion preference work in your browser; the website does not save these preferences in cookies or local storage.
To deliver a web page, the hosting infrastructure receives technically necessary data, such as your IP address, the requested web address and information about your browser. The hosting service may also keep technical logs to secure the website and investigate faults.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Technical processing is intended to keep the website available and secure. To the extent that Ufkes Management B.V. is the controller for this processing, the intended legal basis is its legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website. Our website does not use technical data for advertising profiles or automated decisions about visitors.
4. Hosting and retention periods
This website is hosted on WordPress at STRATO. The hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the website. More information from the hosting provider is available in the STRATO privacy policy.
The following must be confirmed before public use: the allocation of legal responsibilities with the hosting service, any data processing agreements, the exact categories of log data, the retention period and any processing outside the EEA with the associated safeguards. We do not state an unconfirmed retention period.
5. Photos, fonts and external links
Photos load from the website itself. We do not load a Google Photos album, a Google Maps map or external fonts. The official Airbnb card loads only after you click the consent button beside it. Airbnb then receives technical data such as your IP address, browser information and the web address of this page, and may use cookies or similar technologies. We ask for your consent to load this optional external content. You can withdraw it using the close button; the page then reloads without the card. Your choice is not saved. You can remove previously set cookies through your browser. External links take you to the provider’s website. Our regular links do not send referring page information. When loading, the Airbnb card does send this page’s web address to Airbnb.
6. Reservations through Airbnb
When you click through to Airbnb, Airbnb’s privacy policy and terms apply there. Airbnb may process, for example, your account details, travel dates, messages and payment details. Read the Airbnb privacy policy for Airbnb’s own explanation.
This notice covers the use of this website. The accommodation provider’s separate processing of booking data, guest registration and legally required records must be described in the guest information provided with the reservation. This website notice does not replace that information.
7. Your privacy rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. Depending on the processing, you may also request restriction or portability, or object to processing. For processing based on consent, you may withdraw your consent. This does not affect previous lawful processing.
Send a written request about our processing to Ufkes Management B.V., for the attention of privacy DuinDromen, at the contact address above. Describe your request; do not send an unsolicited copy of your identity document. We generally respond within one month. If a legally permitted extension is needed, we will let you know within that month.
If you have a complaint about the processing of personal data, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority. For processing for which Airbnb or the hosting service is independently responsible, you can also contact that organisation directly.

If the website gains new functions or other data processing, we will update this notice. The date at the top indicates when the text was last updated.
